Are you a skilled, reliable mechanic looking for your next opportunity? We're on the lookout for a Temporary Mechanic to join our busy bodyshop team in Edinburgh, working on a varied mix of tyres, servicing, geometry, and light mechanical repairs.
This is a great role for an experienced all-rounder who takes pride in their work and wants competitive pay without being tied down long-term.
What You'll Be Doing
- Fitting, replacing, and balancing tyres
- Carrying out full vehicle services
- Performing geometry (wheel alignment) checks and adjustments
- Light mechanical repairs and fitting new parts — including shock absorbers, control arms, and steering knuckles
- Working efficiently to a high standard in a fast-paced workshop environment
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a mechanic, ideally within a fast-paced garage or bodyshop setting
- Confidence working independently across tyres, servicing, and geometry
- Hands-on experience fitting suspension and steering components
- A reliable, professional approach and good attention to detail
- Own tools preferred (where applicable)
