Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Bread Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering fresh bread and baked goods to various retail outlets and customers in a timely and efficient manner. This role requires excellent driving skills, organisational ability, and a commitment to customer service. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on punctuality and safety. Part time on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays 8.30am - 11.30am, optional extra hours if required.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a company delivery van, ensuring adherence to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Deliver bread and baked goods to designated retail outlets and customers across the local area
- Load and unload bread baskets
- Ensure the vehicle is kept clean, well-maintained, and report any mechanical issues promptly
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times during deliveries
Skills
- Experience as a delivery driver, preferably within the food or bakery industry
- Valid UK driver’s licence with a clean driving record
- Excellent communication skills for liaising with customers
