Our work is primarily across South Wales, particularly CF and NP postcodes, with additional projects across SA and LD postcodes.
We install leading solar and battery technologies including Tesla, EcoFlow, Fox ESS and SolaX.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Solar PV Electrician to join our installation team.
The Role
You will work as part of a small installation team delivering residential solar PV and battery storage installations.
Our installations are typically completed by two- or three-person teams, allowing electricians to focus on high-quality electrical work while working alongside experienced solar roof installers.
You will take responsibility for the electrical installation, testing and commissioning of systems, ensuring all work meets the highest safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Install solar PV systems and battery storage on domestic properties
- Install and commission EV charge points where required
- Complete electrical testing, commissioning and certification
- Ensure installations comply with BS7671 and industry standards
- Work effectively as part of a solar installation team
- Carry out system commissioning and customer handover
- Complete snagging, remedial work and occasional surveys
Essential Requirements
- Completed electrical apprenticeship (including AM2)
- ECS Gold Card
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Level 3 Solar PV qualification (or equivalent)
- Level 3 Battery Storage qualification (or equivalent)
- Minimum 5 years electrical experience
- Experience installing residential solar PV systems
- Ability to carry out inspection, testing and commissioning
- Full UK driving licence (held for 3+ years)
Preferred Experience
Experience installing or commissioning systems including:
- Tesla Powerwall
- EcoFlow
- Fox ESS
- SolaX
