Temporary Ground Maintenance Operative (8–10 Weeks)
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and enthusiastic Ground Maintenance Operative to join our Grounds Team for a temporary 8–10 week contract. This is an excellent opportunity to work in the beautiful surroundings of our Gold Award-winning David Bellamy Conservation Scheme holiday park during our busy summer season.
The Role
You'll help maintain the park to the high standards our guests and holiday home owners expect, working as part of a friendly and dedicated team.
Key Responsibilities
· Grass cutting and lawn maintenance
· Hedge trimming and pruning
· Litter picking and general grounds upkeep
· Operating a range of horticultural equipment, including, ride-on and push mowers, strimmers, hedge cutters, and leaf blowers
· Working safely and following all health and safety procedures
· Maintaining excellent presentation standards across the park
What We're Looking For
Essential:
· Previous experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping, or a similar outdoor role
· Confident using horticultural machinery
· Full UK driving licence
· Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team or independently
· Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
