Are you a supportive Teaching Assistant who enjoys working with children in Key Stage 1? Humly North West is recruiting KS1 Teaching Assistants for September opportunities across local primary schools.
This is ideal if you enjoy helping children build confidence with early reading, writing, maths, routines and classroom learning. We are looking to speak with reliable, positive and proactive Teaching Assistants who want school-based roles from September.
Role Details
Location: Various local primary schools
Pay Rate: £14.25 per hour
Schedule: Full-time and part-time opportunities available
Start Date: September 2026

What You’ll Be Doing
You may be supporting with:
- KS1 classroom support in Year 1 or Year 2
- Early literacy, phonics and numeracy activities
- Small-group and individual pupil support
- Classroom routines and positive behaviour
- Helping pupils build confidence and independence
- Supporting the class teacher with day-to-day learning
You’ll Be a Good Fit If You…
- Have experience as a Teaching Assistant or classroom support assistant
- Enjoy supporting children in Key Stage 1
- Are calm, positive and reliable
- Can support routines, learning and pupil engagement
- Work well with teachers and wider school teams
- Have an enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or are willing to apply for one
- Are willing to complete Humly’s safeguarding and compliance process before placement
