We are currently recruiting dedicated and driven Year 6 Teachers across Leeds
Role Overview:
These are exciting opportunities, where you will deliver high-quality, engaging lessons tailored to Year 6 pupils. You’ll play a key role in planning and delivering the curriculum while ensuring a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that supports every child’s development.
A strong understanding of the Year 6 curriculum is essential, along with a commitment to meeting the diverse needs of all learners.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons that inspire learning

Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that supports both academic and emotional development

Design a well-rounded curriculum that encourages pupils’ social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth

Track and assess pupil progress, offering constructive feedback and targeted support where needed

Build strong relationships with parents and carers to support pupils’ learning at home

Keep accurate records of attendance, progress, and behaviour

Stay informed about current teaching practices and integrate new ideas into your lessons

Work closely with colleagues to provide a consistent and enriching learning experience

Contribute to school events and the wider school community
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally in Year 6

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

A genuine passion for teaching and learning

A caring, patient, and supportive approach

Good organisational skills and effective time management
-
Up-to-date knowledge of the curriculum and a willingness to continue developing professionally
