Tayview Medical Practice is a large, friendly, and forward‑thinking GP practice providing services from two well‑established surgeries based in Newport and Tayport, Fife. We are a training practice for undergraduate students and are affiliated with the University of Dundee and the University of St Andrews. Our main focus is delivering excellent patient care to our patient population.
We are seeking an experienced Practice Nurse to join our supportive and multidisciplinary team.

- An experienced Nursing Team, including Advanced Nurse Practitioners (ANPs)
- Excellent MDT support, including Pharmacy, Mental Health, Midwifery, and CTAC services

The Role
The successful candidate will provide high‑quality nursing care, with particular responsibility for:
- Chronic disease management
- Diabetes reviews and management
- Long‑term condition monitoring and patient education
- Working collaboratively within the wider primary care multidisciplinary team
This post is for 20–25 hours per week, worked across our two practice sites, with flexibility to be discussed at interview.
The Ideal Candidate
- Registered Nurse with current NMC registration
- Significant experience working as a Practice Nurse
- Confident and competent in chronic disease management, particularly diabetes
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Experience with EMIS and Vision is desirable but not essential
