Working Hours: Monday to Friday – 37.5 hours per week OR Monday to Thursday depending on the company

As a CNC Milling / Turning Programmer – Setter – Operator, your responsibilities will include:
- Developing efficient and cost-effective manufacturing processes
- Creating and optimising CNC programs using CAD/CAM software (GibbsCAM preferred)
- Offline programming for 3, 4 & 5 Axis CNC machinery
- Producing setup sheets, tooling plans and tool definitions
- Proving out and introducing new programs into production
- Selecting suitable cutting tools and machining strategies
- Managing tooling, gauges and work-holding requirements
- Delivering projects on time and within budget
- Supporting continuous improvement and technical problem-solving initiatives
- Strong CNC Milling or Turning background
- Proven CNC programming experience
- Experience with 3, 4 or 5 Axis CNC machines
- CAD/CAM programming knowledge (GibbsCAM highly desirable)
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Precision engineering manufacturing experience
- Aerospace industry experience advantageous
- Understanding of NC and offline programming processes
- ONC / HND Engineering qualification, apprenticeship or equivalent experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- SOLIDWORKS experience
- Experience within medium to large engineering organisations
- Familiarity with aerospace quality standards
