We are a busy alloy wheel refurbishment company based in Romford looking for a skilled and hands-on individual to join our repair department.
We are looking for someone with TIG welding experience who is looking to develop their skills within the alloy wheel repair industry. Applicants with aluminium welding experience will be prioritised.
This role mainly involves alloy wheel buckle repairs and wheel straightening using specialist hydraulic equipment, alongside crack repairs and welding where required. Training will be provided on our repair systems and processes, however applicants must already have TIG welding experience.
The role includes:
- Alloy wheel buckle repairs and wheel straightening
- Operating specialist hydraulic repair equipment
- Alloy wheel crack repairs and TIG welding
- Grinding, finishing and preparing repaired areas
- Assessing damaged wheels and repair suitability
- Supporting the repair department and workshop team
- Maintaining a clean and organised working environment
What we’re looking for:
- Previous TIG welding experience is essential
- Aluminium welding experience highly preferred
- Good hands-on and practical ability
- Good attention to detail and pride in your work
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn our repair systems and methods
Experience within the alloy wheel refurbishment industry is beneficial but not essential.
Important:
This is a physical workshop-based role requiring attention to detail, consistency and care.

Pay: £25,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
