We are an established and growing UK wholesale business operating since 2011. We specialise in London-themed souvenirs, giftware, and tourism-related merchandise, supplying retail shops and tourist boutiques across the United Kingdom.
Following our recent supplier network expansion and the introduction of exciting new product lines, we are now seeking a proactive and driven Business Sales Executive to join our team.
Job Role & Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for expanding our B2B wholesale network and managing retail relationships across London and the UK. Your daily duties will include:
- New Customer Acquisition: Proactively identifying and approaching independent retail souvenir shops, tourist gift stores, and boutique outlets to generate new wholesale accounts.
- Relationship Management: Maintaining strong, ongoing relationships with our existing retail customers and managing high-volume repeat orders.
- Product Promotion: Introducing and promoting our brand-new, high-demand merchandise lines to the UK tourist retail market.
- Commercial Negotiations: Negotiating trade supply terms and bulk order pricing within company-approved structures.
- Market Analysis: Monitoring customer demand and local tourism trends to report feedback directly to management for inventory planning.
Requirements (Skills & Experience)
We are looking for someone with a strong passion for sales who can operate independently in a competitive market. The ideal candidate must have:
- Souvenir & Gift Sector Experience: Prior experience working within the UK souvenir, giftware, or tourism-retail market is highly preferred. You should understand the seasonal demands and trends of this industry.
- B2B Sales Track Record: Proven experience in a similar wholesale sales, field sales, or account management role.
- New Business Development: Strong lead-generation skills, a confident approach to making commercial pitches, and excellent relationship-building abilities.
- Qualifications: A degree in Business, Marketing, International Trade, or a related field is preferred, but substantial professional experience in B2B retail distribution will be fully accepted as an alternative.
- Communication: Fluent English with strong communication and negotiation skills.
What We Offer
- Salary: £41,700 - £50,000 per annum (Based on experience and track record).
- Hours: Standard corporate working hours (No weekends).
