The Ritual Atelier is a boutique wellness and beauty studio in Shoreditch, offering massage, facial treatments, body rituals and non-invasive body treatments in a calm, private one-to-one setting.
We are looking for a talented, reliable and warm freelance therapist to join us on a long-term basis as the business continues to grow.
This role would suit a therapist with strong massage experience, a holistic approach, and an interest in facials, skin care and non-invasive body/aesthetic treatments.
About the role:
You will provide high-quality treatments in a calm boutique environment. Treatments may include:
- Swedish massage
- Deep tissue massage
- Holistic / relaxation massage
- Aromatherapy-style massage
- Facial cleansing treatments
- Non-invasive facial treatments
- Body treatments
- Non-invasive body sculpting / machine-based treatments
Training will be provided for our facial and body treatment machines where required.
Availability:
We are looking for someone with regular availability for agreed studio cover days.
Potential availability may include:
- Weekdays between 11am and 8pm
- Part-time availability including weekends
- Regular agreed days as the business grows
Please note this is a freelance/self-employed role. Work is based on confirmed client bookings and agreed studio cover needs.
Requirements:
- ITEC Level 3 Full Body Massage Diploma or equivalent recognised massage qualification
- Strong hands-on massage experience
- Holistic, caring and professional approach
- Experience with facials or skin treatments preferred
- Interest in non-invasive body/aesthetic treatments
- Excellent hygiene and presentation standards
- Reliable, punctual and professional
- Comfortable working independently in a private one-to-one studio
- Own insurance preferred
- Registered as self-employed or willing to work on a freelance basis
- Looking for a long-term collaboration
Pay structure:
Pay is £25 per completed treatment hour, depending on experience and treatment type.
Shorter treatments are paid pro rata. For example, a 30-minute treatment is paid as half a treatment hour.
Third-party platform bookings may be paid as a percentage of the net amount received by the studio after platform commission.
This is a freelance position paid per completed client booking. Earnings will vary depending on confirmed appointments received. Bookings may include advance bookings and same-day appointments.
