Applicants must be 18 years or over to comply with regulations for personal care. Full induction training will be provided. After 6 months, the successful candidate will be offered the opportunity to undergo training level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care. Duties include assisting residents with their personal care needs along with maintaining a record of all care provided. Other duties include laundry, providing refreshments and any other support required throughout, administering all medication, if required. Dealing with and monitoring any health issues that may arise. Successful applicants are required to provide an enhanced disclosure. The cost of the enhanced disclosure will be met by the employer. 2 references will be required. **Job Summary:**
We are seeking a dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist healthcare professionals in providing care to patients in various settings, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
**Duties:**
- Assist in the implementation of care plans under the supervision of healthcare professionals.
- Provide personal care to patients, including bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Monitor and report changes in patient health status to the healthcare team.
- Support patients with mobility and transportation needs.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
- Utilize IT systems for documentation and record-keeping.
**Qualifications:**
- Previous experience in home care or a care home setting is preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Proficiency in basic IT skills for documentation purposes.
- A valid driver's license and use of own car is essential
