Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Reinstatement Operative to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in restoring and maintaining operational standards across various sites.in this position you will be taking on slabbing, kurbing and paving jobs so it offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a proactive approach, strong organisational skills, and a commitment to safety and quality. The role involves managing reinstatement tasks, ensuring maintenance is carried out efficiently, and supporting site operations through effective communication and driving responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Conduct reinstatement activities following project completion, ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and site infrastructure to prevent issues and ensure smooth operation
- Operate company vehicles, including lorries or vans, to transport tools, materials, or personnel as required
- Coordinate with management and other team members to plan and execute reinstatement tasks effectively
- Communicate clearly with clients, contractors, and team members regarding project status and site requirements
- Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and inspections carried out
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times during reinstatement activities
- Assist in organising site logistics to optimise workflow and minimise disruptions
Experience
- Previous management experience within a similar role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Experience in site maintenance or construction-related activities is advantageous
- Valid driving licence is required; experience operating commercial vehicles is desirable
- Strong communication skills are essential for liaising effectively with team members and clients
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
- A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
