About the Role
Green Machine is currently looking for reliable and flexible Relief Cleaners to join our team.
This is an "as and when required" position to cover staff holidays, sickness, absences, and additional cleaning requirements. There are no guaranteed hours, but opportunities for regular work may become available in the future.
A positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn are more important than previous experience, as full training will be provided.
Availability Required: Monday to saturday
Applicants should be available to work flexible hours between: 3pm to 9pm
Work may be offered at short notice to cover staff absences.
Key Responsibilities
- General cleaning duties including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and damp wiping
- Cleaning washrooms and replenishing consumables
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Using cleaning chemicals in accordance with COSHH regulations
- Following Health & Safety procedures
- Reporting any maintenance or cleaning issues
- Using cleaning equipment and machinery where required
What We're Looking For
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
- Flexible and available to work when required
- Good attention to detail
- Able to work independently
- Polite, professional, and customer-focused
- Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not essential
Requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence preferred
- Access to your own transport is an advantage
- Right to work in the UK
