Job Overview
We are seeking a customer focused, enthusiastic and outgoing individual to compliment our aftersales team. The successful candidate will be the primary point of contact for customers seeking vehicle servicing and parts, ensuring a seamless, professional and positive experience. This role involves providing advice, upselling additional services, and maintaining excellent customer relationships to promote loyalty and satisfaction. Although we are a Motorcycle dealer, previous Car industry experience is welcomed.
Duties
- Greet customers promptly and courteously, establishing a welcoming environment.
- Assist customers in identifying their vehicle needs, offering suitable service options and parts.
- Upsell additional services or products where appropriate to enhance customer satisfaction and business revenue.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments for services and parts.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, service orders, and sales.
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs and services.
- Manage parts inventory, ensuring stock levels are maintained and organised efficiently.
- Provide advice on vehicle maintenance, repairs, and available accessories or upgrades.
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a customer service role within the automotive industry is preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge or understanding of vehicle systems is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
- The ability to identify and discuss customer requirements with confidence and empathy.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional demeanour.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.
- Organised with good attention to detail to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service. This role offers an engaging environment for individuals passionate about automotive care and dedicated to providing outstanding service to clients.
Pay: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
