Temporary / Ad Hoc Butlers – Private UHNW Residence (London)
We are seeking experienced and discreet Butlers to support a private UHNW residence in London on an ad hoc and temporary basis throughout the summer months.
This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with strong private service backgrounds who are confident operating within formal, high-standard households and delivering seamless service with discretion and precision.
- Providing exceptional front-of-house and private service to principals and guests
- Table service, including formal and informal dining, service etiquette, and mise en place
- Assisting with hospitality, including drinks service, hosting support, and guest care
- Wardrobe management and personal service duties where required
- Packing/unpacking, travel preparation, and luggage coordination
- Liaising with housekeepers and other household staff to ensure smooth daily operations
- Silver service, tray service, and high-standard food and beverage presentation
- Maintaining discretion, professionalism, and confidentiality at all times
- Proven experience as a Butler or in UHNW/private household, yacht, or five-star hospitality environments
- Strong understanding of formal service standards and etiquette
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Calm, confident, and polished approach to guest-facing service
- Ability to anticipate needs and deliver proactive service
- Flexibility for ad hoc shifts and short-notice assignments
- Discretion and respect for privacy are essential
- Experience working within fully staffed private residences
- Knowledge of wine service, cellar management, or beverage pairing
- Familiarity with wardrobe and personal service support for principals
