Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organised and experienced Site Supervisor to oversee our Thames Water Mains Replacement projects, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to safety standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing teams, coordinating activities, and maintaining project timelines. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong management skills and supervisory experience to contribute to the successful delivery of projects.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily site operations, ensuring work is completed efficiently and safely.
- Coordinate and manage labour, liaise with the office management team to organise subcontractors and suppliers on-site.
- Measuring up excavations ready for reinstatement and booking muck aways.
- Monitor project progress against schedules and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Carry out audits on our internal health and safety system to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
- Liaise with clients, engineers, and other stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of site activities, including progress reports and safety documentation on our internal management system.
Qualifications
- Valid UK-issued category 'B' driving licence.
- NRSWA Supervisor (essential).
- SMSTS (essential).
- EUSR SHEA Water & National Water Hygiene (essential, training can be provided).
- EUSR CAT 1 & 2 (preferred, training will be provided).
- Manual handling, abrasive wheels, emergency first aid at work, asbestos awareness (preferred, training will be provided).
- Experience in the water utility industry is essential.
Pay: £180.00-£230.00 per day
