Femora CIC is a community organisation dedicated to creating safe, supportive spaces where women can connect, learn and grow together.
Through our support circles, workshops, educational content and community initiatives, we aim to improve wellbeing, encourage meaningful conversations and empower women through shared experiences.
As our community continues to grow, we are looking for a passionate Video Editor to help us bring our stories, events and impact to life through engaging video content.
The Role
We are seeking a creative and reliable Volunteer Video Editor to support Femora with editing content for social media, workshops, community events and awareness campaigns.
This is an exciting opportunity to use your skills to contribute to a meaningful cause whilst building your portfolio and gaining experience working within a growing community organisation.
Responsibilities
- Edit short-form video content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and other social media platforms
- Create engaging reels and promotional videos from workshop and event recordings
- Add captions, transitions, branding and graphics where appropriate
- Ensure content aligns with Femora's tone, values and branding
- Collaborate with the Social Media and Marketing Team
- Meet agreed deadlines and communicate progress effectively
We're Looking For Someone Who
- Has experience editing video content (professional, freelance, academic or personal projects)
- Is confident using editing software such as Premiere Pro, CapCut, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve or similar
- Has an eye for storytelling and audience engagement
- Is organised and able to manage deadlines
- Is passionate about women's wellbeing, community building and social impact
- Is able to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable
- Experience creating content for social media platforms
- Motion graphics experience
- Understanding of accessibility features such as subtitles and captions
- Experience working with charities, CICs or community organisations

Time Commitment
Flexible.
We estimate approximately 5-10 hours per week, depending on content requirements and your availability.
