Demolition Site Supervisor – CCDO Gold Card
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Site Supervisor to lead and manage day-to-day operations on various projects, including heavy demolition, soft stripping, and temporary works. Must have an in date CCDO Gold Card and a valid driving licence.
The right candidate must be hands-on, with a solid background in and have a good understanding of structural demolition. Experience managing live sites is essential.
Responsibilities
- Supervise all site activities and trades to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
- Supporting the delivery of both long-term project work and smaller planned works.
- Ensuring all site activities are carried out in line with health & safety standards and company procedures.
- Coordinating trades, materials, and workflow to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Oversee demolition and structural work, including setting up
- Carry out regular quality checks and report progress
- Liaise with clients, office staff, and engineers to resolve on-site challenges
- Maintaining accurate site records, documentation, and daily reporting.
- Conducting toolbox talks, safety briefings, and site inspections.
Requirements
- CCDO Gold Card – Minimum 3 years of experience supervising
- Valid Full UK driving licence
- Sound knowledge of temporary works
- Able to read and interpret technical drawings and structural details
- Experience supervising multi-trade teams on larger projects.
- Strong understanding of construction health & safety requirements.
- Hands-on and proactive approach to site management
- Clear communicator with good problem-solving ability
