Bookkeeper (Freelance / Part-Time)
We are a specialist bookkeeping practice working within the creative industries and are looking for a qualified or part-qualified bookkeeper to support our growing client base.
This is a flexible, remote role offering approximately 4–6 hours per week initially, with the potential for additional hours as the practice continues to grow.
Requirements:
- AAT, ICB or equivalent qualification (or currently studying towards one)
- Understanding of Making Tax Digital (MTD) submissions through Xero
- Good working knowledge of Xero
- Strong attention to detail
- Organised and reliable
- Able to work independently and ask questions when needed
- Professional and client-focused approach
The Role:
- Bookkeeping for a variety of creative industry clients
- Bank reconciliations
- Payment platform reconciliations, including PayPal and Stripe where required
- Assisting with month-end processes
- Maintaining accurate financial records
- Ad hoc bookkeeping support as required
What We're Looking For:
This role would suit a newly qualified bookkeeper looking to gain experience, or a more experienced bookkeeper seeking flexible additional hours. A positive attitude, willingness to learn and strong attention to detail are more important than years of experience.
Hours can be worked flexibly to suit, and there is potential for additional work as the practice continues to grow.
