We’re looking for a Paralegal to join our Property Litigation Team. The successful candidate must be able to communicate fluently in Welsh, both verbally and in writing to support our clients. Working closely with and assisting the team’s fee earners, you will help manage cases involving property disputes for housing associations, owners, landlords, tenants, and property developers. This is an excellent opportunity for an aspiring legal professional to develop their skills, build their reputation, and progress their career as part of a growing commercial disputes team.
- Assisting fee earners with managing a varied and extensive caseload.
- Coordinating the caseload in an organised, methodical manner from initial referral to final hearing.
- Ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the caseload.
- Maintaining a comprehensive case-tracker spreadsheet.
- Keeping clear and up-to-date records to support senior fee earners with reporting requirements (monthly, quarterly and annually).
- Adhering to timescales and deadlines, effectively with fee earners and ensuring reminders are diarised.
- Coordinating documentation, liaising with clients, external companies and internal teams.
- Conducting legal research and preparing precedent documents.
- Drafting correspondence, attending client meetings, preparing notes and following up on action points.
- Fluent Welsh speaker with the ability to communicate confidently both verbally and in writing.
