Gymboree Play & Music is looking for a vibrant, confident and engaging Class Teacher & Play Leader to join our team and help deliver our world-renowned early childhood development programmes for babies and children aged newborn to 5 years, alongside their parents and carers.

What You'll Be Doing
- Delivering our exciting Gymboree Play & Music curriculum in our bright, colourful and purpose-built play space
- Leading interactive classes using songs, movement, props, games and specialised equipment
- Supporting children's development through play-based learning experiences
- Creating memorable experiences for families and building strong relationships with members
- Assisting with customer enquiries, bookings and day-to-day business operations
- Using Excel, Word, email and our class management software (full training provided)
- Working as part of the team to maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for children and adults
- Delivering exciting birthday parties both on-site and at external venues
We're Looking For Someone Who Is:
- Outgoing, friendly and confident in front of groups
- Comfortable being the centre of attention and engaging both children and adults
- Enthusiastic, energetic and naturally positive
- Organised and confident with basic computer systems
- Happy to get involved in all aspects of running a successful centre
- Passionate about early years learning and child development
A background in performing arts, drama, music, dance or entertainment is highly desirable, and a pleasant singing voice is a bonus—but most importantly, we're looking for someone with enthusiasm, warmth and a willingness to learn.
No Gymboree experience? No problem!
We provide comprehensive on-site training to ensure you can confidently deliver our classes to the exceptional standards our families expect.
Hours & Availability
Full-Time and Part-Time positions available
- A quick start date is preferred for the right candidate
- Applicants must be available to work weekends on occasion, including a minimum of one weekend day per month for birthday parties and special events
