Job Overview
We are seeking skilled Labourers to join our team, supporting a variety of construction, gardening, and maintenance projects. The ideal candidates will possess practical experience in landscape maintenance, horticulture, and general construction tasks. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects that require mechanical knowledge and proficiency with hand tools and power tools. The successful applicant will contribute to maintaining and improving outdoor spaces while gaining valuable experience in the industry.
Duties
- Assisting with landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, pruning, grass cutting, and general gardening duties
- Operating machinery including excavators and other power tools to support construction and landscaping projects
- Performing routine maintenance on equipment and tools to ensure safety and efficiency
- Installing irrigation systems and ensuring their proper functioning
- Using hand tools for various tasks related to construction, gardening, or repair work
- Supporting team members in the assembly, dismantling, or refurbishment of structures or outdoor features
- Ensuring work areas are kept clean, organised, and safe at all times
- Assisting with site preparation and clean-up following project completion
Requirements
- Prior experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, or construction is highly desirable
- Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with power tools, hand tools, and excavation equipment such as excavators
- Basic understanding of irrigation systems and horticultural principles is advantageous
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, digging, and operating machinery for extended periods
- Strong organisational skills with attention to safety procedures at all times
- Good teamwork ethic with the ability to follow instructions accurately
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in horticulture or construction-related fields are a plus but not essential
- A valid driver’s licence, own vehicle and tools
