Axtell Limited is a long established and expanding supplier of goods and services to the construction industry. From our Hurtmore depot in Surrey we supply ready-mix concrete, screed, aggregates, muck-away, grab and concrete pump hire, to the surrounding area (Surrey, Sussex and Hampshire).
We are looking for experienced HGV drivers to drive 8-wheel tipper trucks.
Tasks and duties will include:
- Taking muck from sites to landfill facilities
- Delivering aggregates to construction sites
- Undertaking routine vehicle checks
- Ensuring the load is correctly secured by use of an easy sheet
- Issuing receipts
- Customer service
To successfully secure this opportunity, you must:
- Have held an HGV Class 2 licence for at least two years
- Have a digital-tacho card and driver CPC
- Be reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
- Have a great attitude and strong work ethic
- Be capable and confident in your ability
- Have a good geographical knowledge of our operating area
We offer top rates of pay and are currently happy to consider hiring on a full time basis or as a self employed contractor.
Offers of employment are subject to drug and alcohol testing.
Potential earnings of up to £42k per annum (including overtime).
