Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure exceptional service standards. Responsibilities
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, serving, and customer service
- Supervise and manage restaurant staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling team members
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and uphold high standards of hygiene and cleanliness
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food production and timely service
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain smooth operations
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve any complaints promptly to ensure guest satisfaction
- Implement policies and procedures to optimise operational efficiency and service quality
- Lead by example in delivering excellent hospitality experiences and fostering a positive work environment
Skills
- Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong team management and leadership abilities
- Extensive restaurant experience with knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and food safety standards
- Familiarity with culinary processes, food production, and kitchen operations
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment
- Good communication skills to liaise with staff and guests professionally
- Knowledge of hospitality industry trends and best practices
- Ability to motivate staff, supervise performance, and maintain high service standards
- Experience in managing barista services or bar operations is advantageous but not essential
