Responsibilities
- Assist in the daily care and supervision of children in the nursery
- Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for play and learning
- Engage children in age‑appropriate opportunities
- Communicate with parents about the children's day
- Work collaboratively with other staff to maintain a positive, supportive atmosphere
Experience & Qualities We Value
- Previous experience working with young children is preferred
- Knowledge of child development and age‑appropriate opportunities is an advantage
- Strong communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and colleagues
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
- A proactive, reliable, and friendly approach
Additional Requirements
- A DBS check will be carried out
- References will be required
- Training in childcare may be available depending on previous experience
- Wage is dependent on experience and qualifications
