Flexible working arrangements: The role requires flexibility, which includes evening and occasional weekend working to meet the needs of young people.

Team EPIC is Doncaster’s innovative Youth Crime Prevention Service. We work with young people who may be at risk of offending, exploitation, anti-social behaviour, disengagement from education, or other challenges that impact their future opportunities. Through positive relationships, early intervention and targeted support, we help young people make positive choices and achieve better outcomes.
We are looking for a motivated, compassionate and resilient Youth Support Worker to join our supportive and ambitious team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a varied role where no two days are the same and where your work can have a lasting impact on young people’s lives.
A typical week could include delivering prevention sessions in schools, supporting a young person on a one-to-one basis, facilitating positive activities within local communities, working with families and partner agencies, attending multi-agency meetings, help to develop new opportunities that support young people to thrive and being part our flagship Youth Hub within Doncaster City Centre.
Duties include:

Building positive, trusting relationships with young people.
- Delivering early intervention and prevention programmes in schools, communities and youth settings.
- Supporting young people through one-to-one interventions and group work activities.
- Contributing to initiatives that reduce youth crime, anti-social behaviour and exploitation.
- Encouraging young people to develop life skills, confidence, resilience and positive aspirations.
- Working collaboratively with schools, community organisations and partner agencies.
- Recording interventions, producing reports and maintaining accurate case records.
- Supporting the development and delivery of innovative activities that engage young people and improve outcomes.
What you will bring to the role:
