Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and organised Legal Receptionist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for clients providing exceptional service while managing various administrative tasks. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet clients in a friendly and professional manner.
- Answer and direct phone calls with excellent phone etiquette.
- Manage scheduling and appointments.
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain organised filing systems, both electronic and paper-based.
- Assist with clerical duties such as photocopying, scanning, and mailing documents.
- Transcribe dictation.
- Maintain a clean and tidy office environment.
- Support the team with general office duties as required.
Requirements
- Proven experience in an administrative or receptionist role, preferably within a legal environment.
- Familiarity with Microsoft applications (Word, Outlook, Excel).
- Strong typing skills with the ability to produce documents quickly.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Strong clerical skills, including attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
