Your job experiences
We’re looking for an experienced commercial and industrial electrician with proven experience of installing new electrical systems whilst upholding strict safety guidelines and compliance with relevant codes and regulations. Diagnosing and repairing electrical problems, fault-finding, rewiring, and monitoring. Conducting routine maintenance and testing on commercial and industrial electrical systems, and ensuring installations are to manufacturer’s standards.
This role will work across the day and twilight shift, in various sites in and around Kent and the South-East.
Your qualifications
Recognised electrical apprenticeship
City & Guilds 2382-18 - 18th Edition
City & Guilds 2391 - Initial Verification & Periodic Condition Reporting, Inspection & Testing
Knowledge of heating control systems, control panels and fire alarm systems
Experience reading and understanding drawings and specifications
JIB Gold Card is advantageous
You will need to be able to work under your own initiative, or as part of a team. Have a full (manual) drivers’ licence, excellent written and verbal communication skills and IT literate.
High-level security clearances will be required and will include advanced DBS checks.
