Overview
We are seeking an experienced machine operator to assist in running our glue lamination line. Working part of a 2-3 person team, the ideal candidate will be organising and producing 8 x 4 ft sheets of ply wood with various material coverings. This role requires attention to detail, use of trolleys , manual lifting and the ability to work safely and efficiently on a production line.
Duties
- Load raw materials and glue onto production line
- Move pallets of wood around on large trolleys
- Ability to trim waste from product by hand
- Pack orders and complete paperwork for quality and safety procedures.
- Conduct quality checks on products to ensure product identities are correct.
- Maintain equipment and work area, ensuring cleanliness and safety protocols are followed.
- Collaborate with team members to meet productivity goals and deadlines.
Experience
- No previous experience required- full training given
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating good communication skills
