Location: Birmingham & West Midlands (Remote field‑based role)
About Us
At Aspect Housing & Support LTD, we believe everyone deserves a safe, stable place to call home. We support individuals facing homelessness by providing tailored accommodation pathways and high‑quality support. As our service grows, we are seeking a driven and people‑focused Housing Referral Sourcer to strengthen our referral pipeline and widen our community impact.
The Role
This is a remote, field‑based role — not office based. You will work independently across the West Midlands, building referral networks and sourcing eligible service users for our supported accommodation services.
Working hours are 2PM–10 PM Monday - Friday, and you may be required to work on‑call weekends depending on service needs.
You must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to your own transport, as travel to agencies, partners, and service users is essential.
You will work closely with Aspect Housing & Support to actively bring new service users into the organisation through effective outreach, networking, and referral development.
This role is self‑employed, working 35 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Referral Sourcing — Source a minimum of 15 eligible service users per month in line with organisational KPIs.
- Network Development — Build and maintain your own referral network across:
- Probation services
- Prisons and resettlement teams
- Hospitals and discharge teams
- Local councils and housing departments
- Community organisations, charities, and outreach teams
- Work collaboratively with Aspect Housing & Support to bring new service users into the organisation through proactive outreach and relationship‑building.
- Promote Aspect Housing’s supported accommodation services to professionals and agencies.
- Maintain a healthy pipeline of referral opportunities and follow up on all leads.
- Support the intake process by gathering initial service user information during transport.
- Keep accurate records of journeys, referrals, and outreach activity.
- Provide feedback on referral trends, gaps, and opportunities for service development.
- Participate in on‑call weekend cover when required.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience as a Support Worker, Housing Officer, Outreach Worker, or similar.
- Proven sales, outreach, or business development experience.
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
- Confident networker able to engage with professionals across multiple sectors.
- Self‑motivated, target‑driven, and able to work independently.
- Understanding of supported accommodation and the needs of vulnerable adults.
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own transport (essential).
- Comfortable working remotely, managing your own schedule, and working 2PM–10 PM with occasional weekend on‑call duties.
