Job description
Delivery driver delivering tools and lifting hire equipment to customers based on all types of buildings around the whole of London areas also including areas like Brighton, Northampton. Even going up to our Leeds branch or down to our Dorset branch.
What you’ll do:
- 47.5 hours per week, plus paid overtime when required
- Start time @ 6am, finish @ 15:30pm with 1 hour unpaid lunch.
- Collect and deliver time-sensitive equipment
- Carry out daily safety checks on your vehicle and keep the vehicle clean inside and out.
- Make sure paperwork is completed correctly
- Load and Unload your vehicle
What you’ll need:
- A good level of experience driving 3.5t commercial vehicles with long wheel base
- Experience driving in City centres
- Experience in a similar customer-facing role would be a definite plus
- Ability to work flexibly, methodically and under pressure
- Self-starting, team player with a friendly, can-do attitude
- Customer focus, pride in appearance (we have guidelines), professional approach.
- Valid right to work
- Full Clean UK licence
- National Insurance number
- Proof of address not older than 3 months
