Working Site Supervisor – Crushing & Screening Operations

Salary: £22 per hour
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Working Site Supervisor to oversee crushing, screening, and materials handling operations while remaining hands-on within the operation. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising site activities, liaising with clients, ensuring safe and efficient production, and operating plant as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day crushing and screening operations.
- Lead site teams to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to programme.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients on site.
- Monitor production targets, quality standards, and operational performance.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and company procedures.
- Conduct site inspections, toolbox talks, and safety briefings.
- Complete site paperwork, production reports, and operational records.
- Operate plant and equipment as required to support the site team.
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience within the crushing, screening, or quarrying industry.
- Previous supervisory experience.
- Strong client-facing and communication skills.
- CPCS/NPORS Shovel Loader ticket.
- CPCS/NPORS 360 Excavator ticket.
- Good understanding of health and safety requirements and risk management.
- Ability to work independently and lead a team.
Desirable Requirements
- Material Handler / Grab Operator ticket.
- Experience in ship loading and bulk material handling operations.
- Knowledge of mobile crushing and screening equipment.
- First Aid trained.
