Job Overview
Sporting Club Merseyside is a growing football club with a strong commitment to developing young talent in a supportive and professional environment. We are currently looking to recruit a dedicated and motivated Scout to help us identify talented players (ages 6–16) across Liverpool and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend local grassroots matches and tournaments on weekends
- Identify players who match the club’s standards, values, and potential for development
- Build relationships with local teams, coaches, and parents
- Provide detailed scouting reports and recommendations to the club’s coaching staff
- Represent the club professionally in all scouting activities
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in scouting or coaching at grassroots level - mandatory
- Strong knowledge of player development and talent identification
- Excellent communication and observation skills
- Ability to work independently and report clearly to the club
- A genuine passion for youth football and talent development
- Must be available on weekends
