Overview
We are opening a brand-new Luxury cafe/bar in Shrewsbury, sister-business of our cafe FIK by Molton50 in Harrogate and Molton50 in Cheltenham. We are initially looking for a friendly and dedicated Cocktail Bartender, for a soft opening from where we will expand our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about beverage preparation, who enjoy creating a welcoming environment for customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering excellent service while preparing high-quality cocktails and beverages.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve classic and signature cocktails to high standards of quality and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area and kitchen areas in compliance with food safety standards.
- Ensure all food safety protocols are followed diligently.
- Engage with customers courteously, providing excellent service to enhance their experience.
- Restock supplies as needed, including ingredients, utensils, and packaging materials.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations during busy periods.
- Handle cash and card transactions.
- Check customer identification when required.
Requirements
- Prior experience in bartending, or working within a restaurant or café environment is desirable.
- Knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, and beers.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively during peak hours.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly attitude towards customers and colleagues.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Pay: £12.71-£15.00 per hour
