About the role
As a Lettings Negotiator no two days will be the same, your role will be varied and each day will provide its own challenges to overcome. Lettings is a fast paced business so to be considered for this role you need to be able to think on your feet and be able to work well in a busy environment.
You will work closely with the Lettings Manager to ensure all enquiries from potential Tenants are up to date and the prospective Tenants that are currently being referenced are being regularly updated.
Other main aspects of your role will include
- Registering applicants, establishing their requirements, and booking viewings
- Dealing with telephone and email enquiries
- Keeping up to date with applicants, advising them of new to the market properties
- Carrying out viewings at properties and providing feedback to Landlords
- Taking applications from prospective Tenants
- Conducting referencing and necessary checks on prospective Tenants
- Carrying out visits to ensure properties are ready for Tenants to move in
- Working independently and as part of a team
- Creating tenancy agreements and all necessary information for the applicants to move into the property in the most helpful and efficient manner possible.

You need to be motivated to achieve great things and succeed in the role you are doing. As a Negotiator a lot of day to day demands of your job role so you need to be able to manage your workload and your time. The successful applicant will be outgoing, confident and have a genuine interest in working in Lettings.

Salary & working hours - The role is a Full Time role, Monday - Saturday 8:30am to 5:30pm with a day off in the week but these hours must be considered flexible as often additional hours are needed to fully fulfil the role
There is a basic salary of £22,500 - £26,500 depending on experience with commission that would offer a OTE of £30,000
