We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer to join a growing Facilities Management and Building Services business. The role will be based around Worcester and the surrounding areas, with most work completed locally and travel paid door-to-door.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Commercial Gas Engineer, Gas Service Engineer, Heating Engineer, or Multi-Skilled Gas Engineer looking for a stable role with a well-established employer.
The Role
As a Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, servicing, fault finding, and repairs across a portfolio of commercial properties.
The role will primarily focus on commercial gas systems and associated plant, with occasional installation and remedial works where required.
Most days will be worked on a door-to-door basis between 8:00am and 5:00pm, providing an excellent work-life balance and ensuring your travel time is recognised.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out commercial gas servicing, maintenance, and repairs
- Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance tasks
- Diagnose faults and undertake repairs to commercial heating systems
- Service boilers, water heaters, radiant tube heaters, and associated plant
- Carry out gas safety inspections and compliance checks
- Complete maintenance reports and compliance documentation
- Attend emergency call-outs when required
- Undertake installation and remedial works where appropriate
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with current regulations
- Build strong relationships with clients and site teams
Essential Qualifications
Applicants must hold the following commercial gas qualifications:
- CCN1
- CPA1
- CENWAT
- CORT1
- CIGA1
- ICPN1
- CDGA1
- TPCP1 / TPCP1A
- G3 Unvented Hot Water
Experience Required
- Previous experience as a Commercial Gas Engineer
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic abilities
- Experience within Facilities Management, Building Services, or Commercial Maintenance environments
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Full UK Driving Licence

On-Call
- Participation in an on-call rota
