Elevation Recruitment Group are recruiting for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join one of our Manufacturing clients in Wakefield.
Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer - Manufacturing
Location: Wakefield
Hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 7:30am – 4:30pm
- Friday: 7:30am – 12:30pm
Salary: £40,000 - £44,000
Job Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance, inspections, servicing, and repairs
- Diagnose and repair faults on manufacturing equipment
- Respond promptly to breakdowns and maintenance issues to minimise downtime
- Identify root causes, and restore equipment to safe working condition
- Undertake mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic fault-finding, replacing or repairing components
- Support production teams with machine set-up
- Carry out minor fabrication and modification work
- Assist with the installation, commissioning, relocation, and improvement of equipment
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition
- Comply at all times with health and safety procedures, risk controls, and relevant regulations
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum recognised Level 3 electrical and mechanical qualification.
- Experience working within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical and electrical maintenance knowledge
- Experience fault finding within a an electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.

Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer, Electrical Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Shift Engineer, Lead Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Technician, Automation Engineer, Mechanical Maintenance Engineer.
Pay: £40,000.00-£44,000.00 per year
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Wakefield, West Yorkshire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
