Job Description
We are looking for LGV Class 2 Day Driver to occupy permanent full-time position working out of our Heywood Depot. Duties for this role are deliveries and collections, working Monday to Friday with occasional weekend working. The role is 40 hours a week.
We operate within a multi drop pallet network and will require handballing offloading from time to time.
Successful applicants must have the following:
- Class 2 Licence
- Drivers Licence (photo card)
- Digital Tachograph card
- Driver Qualification card (CPC)
- Ability to demonstrate the highest level of professionalism
Experience within a Transport office is desirable, but not essential.
You will need to ensure all documentation is accurately completed, adhere to safe working practices and have a flexible approach to your work pattern as dictated by customer/operational requirements as well as complying with all legislation in line with Driver Hours and Working Time Directive.
Remuneration includes:-
- 40 hour working week (basic salary £28,080)
- Extra hours may be available over 40 hrs but not guaranteed.
- Occasional weekend working
