Hours: Monday to Friday (08.30 - 3.30)
Salary: £92.56 per day

Now Education is currently working closely with a variety of schools in Newport with their staffing needs. There is a huge focus on rapidly improving the development of their student's learning.
The ideal candidate required for this Teaching Assistant role will be; resilient, committed and has a positive attitude to better the lives of pupils in a school. The role will involve supporting both teachers and pupils, helping keep the students engaged with their learning. Due to the challenging behaviours of the students you will need to have experience within a similar background or be trained in physical intervention or something similar.
This role would be perfect for people with experience of working within mental health, children's residential homes, PCSO’s, sport’s coaches, experienced teaching assistants and ALN specialists.
To be successful for this role, the ideal candidate will:
- Have experience with ASD (Autism), SEBD (Social and Emotional Behavioural Difficulties) and SEMH (Social and Emotional Mental Health)
- Want to work within ALN (Additional Learning Needs).
- Enthusiastic, dedicated and motivated.
- Be patient, compassionate, consistent and understanding towards pupils.
- Excellent interpersonal skills too work effectively with staff and students.
- Be available 5 days per week without any restrictions.
