Pottery Tutor – Alternative Learning Provision

Century Training Academy is looking for a creative and enthusiastic Pottery Tutor to deliver engaging pottery and ceramics sessions to young people aged 13+ within our Alternative Learning Provision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver practical pottery sessions, including hand-building, sculpting, and glazing.
- Adapt teaching to meet individual learner needs.
- Support learners' personal development, confidence, and engagement.
- Maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment.
Essential Requirements:
- Experience in pottery, ceramics, or a related creative field.
- Experience working with young people.
- Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and learner welfare.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
Desirable:
- Teaching or training qualification.
- Experience in Alternative Provision, SEND, or youth work.
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
