Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Chef de Partie (Part-time) to join our culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, ensuring high standards of food quality and safety. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for culinary arts to develop their skills within a dynamic restaurant environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with established recipes and standards
- Assist in the organisation and management of the section, ensuring smooth kitchen operations
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations, adhering to food safety regulations
- Ensure all food is prepared to the highest quality standards, paying attention to presentation and portion control
- Support the team during busy periods, providing excellent service to guests
- Follow health and safety procedures diligently, including proper handling of ingredients and equipment
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of dishes
Experience
- Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar culinary role is desirable
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in a professional kitchen environment
- Experience working in a restaurant setting or catering environment is advantageous
- Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and serving procedures
- Proven ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality and hygiene
- Part time role with the potential for full time.
Pay: £13.25-£13.75 per hour
