Suburb 66 is thrilled to announce the upcoming opening of its first bar & restaurant in Meadowhall, Sheffield, and we’re looking for a motivated and skilled Pasta Chef to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook pasta using high-quality ingredients
- Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are maintained
- Assist in kitchen operations and food preparation
- Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent customer service
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen
- Manage inventory of ingredients and supplies
- Support the overall dining experience by ensuring timely service
- Comply with health & safety and licensing regulations at all times
- Have transferable skills to cover for other staff (burgers & pizza)
General:
- Professionally presented at all times in disposition and in appearance and approach
- Have a flexible approach to working hours and duties including weekend and bank holidays
- Act as an ambassador for the company and present a professional image at all times
- Treat customers and colleagues fairly and with respect, value the diversity of others and work proactively to overcome communication barriers

- You may also be requested to carry out other non-specific duties reasonably required for the success of the business as a whole
Required Experience and Skills:
- Previous chef experience
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations
- Excellent organisational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent ability to use own initiative
- Passion for food and providing exceptional service

Salary:
£13.00 - £14.00 per hour, depending on experience
