Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Project Support Operative to join our team. This role involves assisting in site set-ups and supporting project teams, and ensuring smooth operations on-site. Duties
- Assist with the setup and dismantling of construction sites, ensuring all safety protocols are followed
- Use hand tools and power tools to support carpentry, assembly, or other construction activities
- Support the delivery and organisation of materials on-site
- Help with measurements, marking out work areas, and preparing surfaces for further work
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment by clearing debris and organising tools and equipment
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project deadlines are met efficiently
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to minimise risks on site
Experience
- Previous experience working with hand tools and power tools is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Basic understanding of construction processes or related fields is advantageous
- Practical experience in a similar support role within construction or manual trades is beneficial
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role
- Candidate must hold a full clean UK Driving Licence as the role involves dring a company vehicle
