The role:
Full time Poultry Operatives are required for our free range and organic farms based near Thirsk. You’ll be helping to care for free range and organic hens across our North Yorkshire based sites, making sure they have everything they need to produce the top-grade eggs that we pride ourselves on, and ensuring that the eggs are packed and stacked correctly, and recorded accurately.
Full time, 45 hours per week available on a rotational basis. (Would consider Part time working hours for the right candidate)
Duties include walking the birds, collecting floor / system eggs and working on the egg packing machine general hygiene and housekeeping.

No previous experience needed as full training given however previous poultry experience would be advantageous.

· Flexible and reliable with a ‘can-do’ attitude.
· Willing to get stuck in with a variety of tasks.
· Observant, with an eye for detail.
· Kind, compassionate and love animals. If you’ve worked with animals (ideally poultry)
before, even better.
· The ability to accurately complete paperwork.
· Able to drive yourself to and between our sites with a full UK driving license
Full Driving Licence and vehicle required due to location of farms.
Due to strict bio-security regulations staff are not allowed to keep poultry at home or have any regular contact with birds outside of the working environment.
