Home Care Assistant – Guaranteed 16 Hours per Week

We are currently recruiting an experienced Care Assistant to provide high-quality support to clients in their own homes across Romney Marsh.
This is a rewarding opportunity for someone passionate about helping others maintain their independence, dignity and quality of life.
Hours Available:
- Guaranteed contracted hours: 16 hours per week (Must include min of 8 at the weekend)
- Additional hours available if desired
- Care rounds operate between 7am – 9pm, worked in smaller scheduled rounds. Whether you want to work early mornings, evenings or a mixture, we have lots of hours to offer. (We can not offer school hours only)
(Please note: this is community-based home care, not a care home role.)
About the Role:
As a Home Care Worker, you’ll provide essential support to vulnerable adults within the comfort of their own homes. No two days are the same, and the relationships you build with clients can make a genuine impact on their well-being and independence.
Duties may include:
- Personal care and assistance with washing and dressing
- Medication support
- Meal preparation
- Companionship and emotional support
- Assisting clients to appointments or in the community
- Promoting independence and dignity at all times

Essential Requirements
To be considered for this role, applicants must:
- Hold a full driving licence and have access to a vehicle
- Have a minimum of 12 months home care experience
- Be able to communicate confidently in English (spoken and written)
- Be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS check before employment
