Job Summary
The Altonwood Group is seeking to recruit an experienced Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to assist with the running of the catering operation at one their busy proprietary golf clubs in Surrey which features a strong function/corporate hospitality business.
Responsibilities and Duties
To assist the Food & Beverage Manager in the provision of efficient management and delivery of all Food and Beverage services provided by the Club whilst meeting food and hygiene standards, financial targets and delivering a high level of customer service.
To act as deputy to the Food & Beverage Manager as required.
In conjunction with the Food & Beverage Manager organise and run the food & beverage events held at the Club including Wedding Receptions, dinner dances, conferences and Sunday lunches.
To assist in ensuring health and safety standards are adhered to and that staff are fully aware of licensing regulations and laws, health and safety regulations, and food regulations.
Qualifications and Skills
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 year’s management experience within the hospitality sector.
Candidates will be expected to deliver a high level of customer service and possess strong communication, leadership and budgetary skills.
