Job Overview
Become the face (and wheels!) of Thistle & Churn —a mobile, bike‑powered ice‑cream experience that pops up where the crowds are. You’ll steer one of our fully‑equipped bikes, delight customers with locally‑made scoops of Scottish Handmade Ice-Cream, and use your entrepreneurial flair to maximise daily sales. Expect plenty of sunshine, spontaneous dance‑offs with kids, and the buzz of being on the move.

Key Responsibilities
Sales & Customer Joy Serve ice‑cream and smiles with equal enthusiasm.
- Recommend flavours, manage tasters, create beautiful ice creams.
- Handle cashless payments and keep queue times low.
Inventory & Quality Control Monitor freezer stock and product rotation to guarantee perfect scoops.
- Restock at HQ or satellite depots without delaying sales .
Brand Representation Keep the bike spotless, the kit sharp, and engage the public with our story and sustainability mission.
- Capture fun content for social when time allows.
Qualifications & Skills
- Age 18+ with right to work in the UK.
- Multiple languages are a benefit but not essential.
- Confident cyclist; e‑trike training provided, but you should feel safe in light traffic.
- Outgoing communicator who enjoys striking up conversations with strangers.
- “Owner‑mindset”: you think about profit, presentation, and punctuality.
- Basic numeracy and comfort using POS apps / card readers.
- Physically capable of pedalling a loaded e‑trike for several hours with breaks.
- Weekend and holiday availability (peak ice‑cream moments!).
- Bonus points for: prior food‑service, events, street‑food or sales experience; Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate (or willingness to obtain—training).

Pay: From £24,420.00 per year
