Site Manager - NI Projects
We are working with a leading NI contractor to appoint their new Site Manager to work on projects across NI.
Duties will include;
- Health & Safety Compliance: Conduct risk assessments, enforce site safety rules, and ensure all workers follow statutory regulations and PPE requirements
- Project Management: Oversee project phases, coordinate logistics, monitor build costs, and ensure client specifications are met
- Team Leadership: Supervise on-site staff, hire and manage subcontractors, and motivate the workforce to maintain efficiency
- Quality Control: Perform regular inspections of building materials and workmanship to guarantee high standards and avoid costly delays
- Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with architects, surveyors, clients, and local authorities, providing regular progress reports
- Administration: Order materials, negotiate contracts, and secure necessary licences and permits
What we are looking for...
- Construction Management or Civil Engineering Degree with site management experience
- Experience working on construction projects from commencement through to completion on projects valued from approximately £5 million upwards.
- Experience coordinating internal and external trades on construction projects.
- Good IT skills and ability to use construction management software systems.
