Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Level 3 (L3) Nursery Nurse to join our vibrant childcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to young children within a nurturing environment. Duties
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that support children’s developmental milestones in line with the early years curriculum.
- Provide attentive supervision and care, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all children at all times.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication and teamwork.
- Observe, assess, and record children's progress, sharing insights with parents during regular updates.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and stimulating environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Support children with their personal care routines, including feeding, dressing, and toileting as required.
- Contribute to the organisation of nursery routines such as snack times, nap times, and outdoor play sessions.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and nursery policies at all times.
- Assist in the planning of special events or activities that enhance children's social skills and confidence.
Skills
- Proven experience working within a nursery or early childhood education setting.
- Strong management and leadership skills to guide less experienced team members when necessary.
- Excellent communication skills in English, capable of engaging effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Knowledge of childcare regulations and best practices in early years education.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while demonstrating initiative independently.
- Compassionate approach with genuine enthusiasm for working with children.
- Organised with excellent time management skills to balance multiple responsibilities efficiently.
